[OSEN=선미경 기자] YG head YANG HYUN SUK announced the comeback of G-DRAGON himself.

On his Instagram page, YANG HYUN SUK posted a picture hashtagged with #GD #GDRAGON #Kwon Jiyong #Jiyongi #NEWALBUM #Now mixing for the album #mixinginprocess #around the corner #verysoon #YG on May 29.

He was talking about G-DRAGON’s solo album, and the fact that he used the hashtag #verysoon, it means that G-DRAGON will be releasing his solo album in the very near future. Since YANG HYUN SUK himself announced this, expectations are running even higher for G-DRAGON’s comeback next month.

G-DRAGON has recently finished shooting the music video for his new song and is expected to make a comeback in June. On June 10, he will hold a solo concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

YG previously confirmed BIGBANG leader G-Dragon’s solo comeback, and according to YG representative Yang Hyun Suk, Taeyang is next!

On May 30, Yang Hyun Suk posted a photo of G-Dragon and Taeyang on his Instagram and indicated through his caption that G-Dragon’s new solo album will “definitely” be out by early-June. He then announced that Taeyang’s solo comeback will be coming up after G-Dragon’s.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon has been filming for his music video (possibly more than one music video), and he recently uploaded what appear to be pictures of him at the music video set. Yang Hyun Suk also built hype by sharing a sneak peek at the production process of G-Dragon’s upcoming album. G-Dragon will be embarking on a world tour titled “Act III: Motte” starting June 10 in Seoul.

With fans awaiting BIGBANG member G-Dragon’s much-anticipated new solo release, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk has shared a glimpse of the production process and promised G-Dragon’s return will be happening very soon!

On May 29, Yang Hyun Suk shared a photo of a composition program open on a computer screen with a folder entitled “GD MIX.” He wrote in the caption, “Mixing in process,” and promised “Very soon.”

It was previously reported that G-Dragon has begun shooting his new music video, and he shared what appear to be photos from filming on his Instagram yesterday. He is also currently preparing to head on a world tour, with his opening concert date on June 10 in Seoul.

G-Dragon Gives Fans A Potential Spoiler Look At His Upcoming Solo Comeback

On May 28, G-Dragon posted two photos on his personal Instagram that seem to hint at what fans can expect from his solo comeback.

It was reported earlier that G-Dragon may be filming multiple music videos for his comeback, which is scheduled to take place before his solo world tour “Act III, M.O.T.T.E” in June. The first music video filming took place on May 24.

In the photos, G-Dragon is seen sporting khaki pants, no shirt, and a new hairstyle, as well as getting some seriously dramatic makeup.

BIGBANG’s T.O.P made a surprise visit to a school event alongside his co-workers from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency

T.O.P surprised the audience by showing up at the event alongside the military band, despite not being in that unit himself.

Although he did come on stage, T.O.P participated as the host for the event and did not perform with the military band.


This was a rare occasion where T.O.P was seen in his full police uniform since completing his basic training last March.

He will continue his duty as a conscripted police uniform until his discharge on November 8, 2018.

[일간스포츠=이미현 기자] Group BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON shoots a new music video in secret today, for his upcoming comeback.

According to multiple insiders on May 24, G-DRAGON has kicked off the project for this solo comeback during this June and started shooting of a new music video on the day. In addition, G-DRAGON is now giving the final touch to his new album, but the exact date of his comeback has not been confirmed yet.

An official of YG Entertainment said, “G-DRAGON shoots a music video today and the location and concept cannot be revealed yet”. G-DRAGON is coming back as a solo artist for the first time in four years since “COUP D’ETAT” released in 2013.

While fans cannot complete team of BIGBANG for some time because T.O.P joined the police for his mandatory military service in February this year, G-DRAGON will quench fans’ thirst for BIGBANG with his new solo album.

In the meantime, G-DRAGON is to hold world tour “G-DRAGON 2017 CONCERT: ACT III, M.O.T.T.E” on the 10 next month at Sang-am World Cup Stadium in Seoul. Insiders expect that G-DRAGON might unveil his new songs at the concert.

G-DRAGON has entertained the eyes and ears of music fans with every new album of his, presenting bold concept and music. Music fans are already paying keen attention to what G-DRAGON’s first solo project in four years will be like.
