In addition, BIGBANG also took multiple spots on the 2015 list of YouTube’s most watched K-pop videos. “Bang Bang Bang” and “Loser” placed first and second respectively, and “Bae Bae” and “Let’s Not Fall in Love” both ranked within the top ten.

'The List 2015' reveals the estimated incomes of the top eight earners in K-Entertainment

twitter.com_CWNmQyRW4AA---Z_1.jpg

Ever wondered how much dough some of the biggest names in Hallyu, such as BIGBANG, Park Seo Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, and Park Bo Young, make? Well, no need to wonder any longer because tvN's 'The List 2015' revealed whose incomes they believe are the highest in the world of K-Entertainment.

The list, which revealed the estimated incomes of a total of eight Hallyu stars, were dominated by actor and actresses; BIGBANG was the sole idol group to make the list.

Based on each named star's product endorsements, number of drama episodes they appeared in, film roles, and taking into account the expert opinions from several entertainment industry insiders, a list of the top eight earners was compiled.

In eighth place came Park Bo Young, who scored a total of four endorsement deals in 2015, is speculated to have raised her total income to over 1 billion KRW (~$843,570 USD). In seventh place is the rising actor Park Seo Joon, who is estimated to earn 30 million (~$25,307 USD) KRW per drama episode and an additional 4~500 million KRW (~$337,428 - 421,785 USD) for endorsements, for a total of around 1.08 billion KRW (~$911,055) USD.

Actor Yoo Hae Jin placed sixth on this list, another talented starlet who has been making a notable contribution to the Hallyu wave with his various acting, variety, and endorsement stints. Though 'The List' didn't specify how much they think he makes, we can only imagine his profits are in the millions! The beautiful Hwang Jung Eum preceded Yoo Hae Jin, getting an honorable mention for her long and fruitful career, which had actually begun in K-Pop, not acting.

Starting off the top half the tier was chef and entrepreneur Baek Jong Min, who secured a permanent spot on four variety programs--three of them being cooking-related--along with various endorsements, and not to mention he is the CEO of 26 restaurant franchises with 169 branches across Korea!

In third place was none other than BIGBANG, who broke records in both physical and digital album sales with their 'MADE' series. 'The List' predicts that the group profited around 11.5 billion KRW (~$9.7 million USD) just from their album sales alone.

Second place was taken by actor Hwang Jung Min, who had roles in three movies this year, landed six endorsements, and also directed and starred in a musical.

And, finally, the list was topped by young but talented actor Yoo Ah In! The actor is estimated to have raked in around 450 million KRW (~$379,606 USD) for his role in historical period movie 'The Throne,' earned 70 million KRW (~$59,049 USD) for each episode of 'Six Flying Dragons,' and was the face of many brands ranging from coffee, clothing, telecommunications, and more!

[PANN] YG'S 3 VISUALS - T.O.P, DARA, JINWOO

As you all know, YG doesn't choose people for their looks, but in a group there is always one who obtains the previous class of the YG representative flower boy/girl! Even though its theres only a few of them, whenever they come out they become the idol one top

Understandably, these phrases have emerged: When SM makes a group, its a flower field of visuals and one amazing vocalist (Taeyeon, Kyuhyun, Luna, Chen, Wendy) and for YG, skills are chosen as default and there is a legendary visual member

Within this, there are the most famous top 3 YG visuals. I'll start talking about them

First obtained visual; Bigbang's TOP

In TOP's case, it is seriously an obtained one. During their trainee days, Kwon Jiyong and Dong Youngbae were decided to become a unit! But they told GD that they were looking for someone with a low tone voice to match GD's high tone. So GD privately found someone he knew; TOP who was promoting underground and brought him to YG. His skills and voice were good but Yang Hyum Sukie said: lose weight and come back, then I'll let you audition again.

Yang-CEO wouldn't have known that he would lose 20kg in 40 days and come back and become YG's legendary visual....

image.jpeg

2nd obtained visual; 2ne1's Sandara Park

3rd obtained visual; Winner's Kim Jinwoo

He is a really famous YG addition. Thats why when he came from the small island of Imjado, he auditioned for YG and immediately became a trainee. If he hadn't auditioned for YG when he came to Seoul and a few months went by, hiss visuals would've definitely got him cast whilst walking on the street. Even Sidus (a famous actor agency) wanted him but because of Kim Jinwoo's inflexible want to be in YG and his passion to become a singer, he stayed in YG, and was a trainee for 7-8 years (longest period) and then debuted as Winner! Conclusion: He was also obtained. Yang-CEO doesn't need a casting director. Because a one top visual will just come rolling through the front door.

Lastly, I'll leave after posting the next generation YG visuals

BIGBANG Enters Fuse TV’s 20 Best Songs of 2015; K-Pop’s Most Successful Act in 2015?

bigbang-enters-fuse-tv-s-20-best-songs-of-2015.jpg
American cable channel Fuse TV announced their 20 Best Songs of 2015 last December 7 and BIGBANG's "Loser" which was released in May made it on the list.

Songs mentioned in the top 20 were those of world renowned stars such as Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Adele, Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Drake. The K-Pop group being the only Asian act to make it into the cut shows that BIGBANG is just as much of a global star as them.

Fuse TV praised the song explaining, "This year marked a banner year for the K-Pop phenoms BIGBANG, who promoted eight different singles this summer. It all kicked off in May with this brilliant mid-tempo track that mixed BIGBANG's emotion-soaked hip hop with a slew of impassioned hooks. From G-Dragon and TOP's honest bars to Taeyang and Daesung's sky-high belting, 'Loser' moves you regardless of what language you speak."

The global boy group commenced the release of their "MADE Series" singles on May 27, 2015, and four of them topped the iTunes charts in a number of countries. "Loser", "Bang Bang Bang", and "Let's Not Fall in Love" even made it to the first place on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.

In addition, "Bang Bang Bang" and "Loser" took the top two spots on YouTube's most watched K-pop videos in 2015. The other songs in the series "Bae Bae," "Let's Not Fall in Love," and "Sober" also made it to the top ten.

BIGBANG was also the big winner on a recently held "Mnet Asian Music Awards 2015" bringing home four trophies on the night of December 2. They were awarded with "Worldwide Favorite Artist", "Best Music Video," and the grand prizes for "Song of the Year" and the most prestigious "Artist of the Year" award which is their third time since 2008 and 2012.

Meanwhile, the five-membered group is on a tour in Japan entitled "BIGBANG Word Tour 2015~2016 [MADE] in Japan." Their next concert for the tour will be held at the Osaka Kyocera Dome in January next year.

With BIGBANG's achievements for their "MADE Series" raking almost all of the huge trophies in different year-end awarding shows in Korea and even getting recognized in international denominations such as the recent "Fuse TV's Best Songs of 2015," the YG Entertainment frontrunner's comeback after a long hiatus can be well described as the most successful act in K-Pop this year.

VOTE: Which K-Celebrity Dating Revelation of 2015 Was the Most Surprising?

VOTE: Which K-Celebrity Dating Revelation of 2015 Was the Most Surprising?

2015 is almost coming to an end but what a year it has been for Korean celebrities’ relationship revelations!

Idols, especially, are usually quite secretive about their romantic relationships because of the relationships that they have with their fans, where fans view idols as their personal oppas. Idols love to give fans this fan service, with idols like Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk writing to us from his army camp, treating us like his girlfriend, and G-Dragon conducting his V App program like he would Facetime his lover.

G Dragon V Live Naver App

However, the tide seems to have changed this year, with multiple celebrities being spotted by Dispatch and fairly quickly admitting to being in a relationship. Which relationships were some of the most surprising to come out this year?

Lee Seung Gi and YoonA

Lee Seung Gi and YoonA were the first to openly confirm that they were dating this year. This was a surprising move by the entertainment companies involved to acknowledge the high profile couple so candidly, and started off 2014 with a BIGBANG.

Seungi and Yoona

Lee Seung Gi had identified YoonA to be his ideal type multiple times so it was sweet to m get together. Sadly, they have recently broken up.

Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah

It is a shipper’s world when a couple that has strong chemistry in the activities that they have together turns out to be dating in real life. Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah first showed affection to each other in their Giordano photoshoot in 2014.

Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah

Nobody seemed to think too much about their casual chemistry though, so there was some surprise when the relationship was declared, especially since Shin Min Ah is five years older than Kim Woo Bin. Many were also probably still suffering from second male lead syndrome with Kim Woo Bin’s flawless portrayal of his love for Park Shin Hye in “The Heirs.” Nevertheless, we got treated to a lovely CF showing off Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah’s intimacy for Giordano again this year!

Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin

The boys of BIGBANG have hardly been known to admit to relationships, though reports of G-Dragon and Kiko Mizuhara continue to fly about our heads.

Therefore it was quite a surprise when Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin admitted in June to have been dating for two years after meeting on the set of Taeyang’s “1AM” music video shoot. Looking back, it’s hard to think why we didn’t expect it to happen; just look at that sizzling chemistry!

Min Hyo Rin and Taeyang

IU and Jang Ki Ha

IU, the nation’s little sister, is all grown up now! IU had previously been rumored to have romantic relations with other stars such as Eunhyuk and Lee Hyun Woo, so many did not expect that she would be dating Jang Ki Ha, whom she did not have any obvious associations with.

IU and Jang Ki Ha

We were even more surprised when it was revealed that it was love at first sight for IU after meeting Jang Ki Ha on his radio show and that she has been dating him for two years since then!

IU and Jang Ki Ha radio show

Choiza and Sulli

This relationship was a particularly scandalous revelation. Choiza and Sulli were initially rumored to be together but they denied the reports. However, Choiza’s wallet was later picked up by an unknown source and photos of Sulli were found inside.

Choiza and Sulli

This sent shockwaves through the the netizen community who reeled from coping with the initial denial to the uncovering of this undeniable proof of their relationship. The backlash was rather severe, causing Sulli to have to take a year of hiatus from her promotional activities.

Lee Min Ho and Suzy

And then we have Lee Min Ho and Suzy.

Lee Min Ho and Suzy

This relationship came flying out of the left field, like many of the others here, with photos of their clandestine meetings suddenly surfacing on Dispatch. Signs of the power couple were scarce, considering Lee Min Ho and Suzy had never been in any activities together. Up until today, the circumstances as to how they got to know each other remain hazy, although reports have stated that Lee Min Ho was the one to approach Suzy.

Apart from the above, there were a slew of other relationship revelations, including former U-KISS member Dongho getting married, Song Seung Hun dating Liu Yifei, and most recently, U-KISS’s Eli announcing that he had gotten married in 2014, among others.
