Kwanghee became intimidated by G-Dragon during recording...suddenly started using honorifics?

kwanghee.jpg'Infinity Challenge' cast member ZE:A's Kwanghee became flustered and began speaking respectfully to BIGBANG's G-Dragon during recording of their song for the upcoming music festival.

After the performance order of the teams was decided, Kwanghee, G-Dragon, and Taeyang went to the studio and began recording in earnest. At first, Kwanghee was his normal chipper self, happy to be working with the pair. He said, "Are we gonna do choreography now?"

However, after the first recording, G-Dragon repeatedly told Kwanghee, "Let's do it again!" in a serious tone. Realizing that the time for playing around was over for the moment, Kwanghee, probably unconsciously, begins to talk to G-Dragon using honorifics (more formal, polite words generally used for elders or those of higher status).

You can watch the exchange below. Were you surprised by the sudden serious mood?

The music videos for K-pop boy group BIGBANG‘s “Zutter” and “Let’s Not Fall in Love,” from the album “E” have garnered more than a collective 10 million views on YouTube since its release Wednesday.

Currently, BIGBANG’s tracks are topping the music charts, including Melon, Olleh, Bugs, Mnet and Genie.

Through SBS’ music program “Inkigayo,” they are set to show their first performance of “Zutter” and “Let’s Not Fall in Love” on stage.

As a Producer, GD was So Hot in Infinite Challenge

[OSEN=??? ??] The song festival of Infinite Challenge was a rare chance to see what GD is like as a producer. Viewers were able to get a glimpse of GD as a producer, who is so musically talented that he is often referred to as a “celebrity among the celebrities”. His charismatic yet gentle producing style won the hearts of many viewers.

On the August 8 episode of MBC’s Infinite Challenge, GD, TAEYANG and Kwanghee from ZE:A started recording their song “???” for the 2015 music festival. Jokingly calling themselves as “Hwangtaeji”, GD, TAEYANG and Kwanghee received huge responses as little parts of their song were aired on the episode. The song “???” is a classic BIGBANG style music with an exciting and addictive beat. With Kwanghee among them, expectations are high on what kind of a team GD, TAEYANG and Kwanghee will make.

GD’s gentle charisma as a producer grabbed the attention of many viewers. Although Kwanghee kept making mistakes, GD was gentle and encouraged him to go on, but he also gave clear and strict directions at the same time. GD managed to do exactly what he had to do as a producer while trying to make the singer feel comfortable. His soft yet seasoned producing style wowed the viewers.
Although the recording process was only aired for a short time, GD, TAEYANG and Kwanghee working hard as a team raised expectations for the music festival. Viewers were able to see what GD is like not only as a singer but also as a producer. He didn’t try to look cool but the way he focused made him look really sexy. People say that women find men attractive when they are focused on doing their job. GD added his sexy charm to this, sweeping the viewers off their feet.

This is the third time that GD participated in Infinite Challenge’s music festival. He teamed up with Park Myung Soo at first and then Jung Hyung Don. This time, GD is in a team with Kwanghee – the new member of Infinite Challenge. When doing music festivals, GD is not only loved for the songs he makes but also for the sweet yet squabbling “bromance” relationships with his team members.
During previous music festivals, GD stood up against Park Myung Soo and kept his color although Park Myung Soo constantly shouted at him. He also built a special relationship Jung Hyung Don as if he were playing games with him and made people say it is as if they were shooting for the “We’re Married” show. This time, GD has forged a hearty friendship with Kwanghee, who lacks confidence. Whenever GD appears in Infinite Challenge, he wins the hearts of the viewers with his warm-hearted appeal.

Meanwhile, on the August 8 episode, it was officially announced that Infinite Challenge’s music festival for 2015 will be held in Pyeoungchang on August 13.

BIGBANG earns 2nd perfect all-kill for ‘Let’s Not Fall in Love’

Both of BIGBANG’s songs from the ‘E’ part of their series continue to crush the music charts.
The two songs have been battling each other for supremacy on the music charts, but it should come as no surprise that it’s the more heartfelt “Let’s Not Fall In Love” that seems to really be hitting a chord. After achieving an all-kill upon release, the song has gone on to obtain not one, but two perfect all-kills, taking the top spots on all of the real-time, daily, and weekly music charts at the same time!
Of the four songs that have earned perfect all-kills in 2015, two of those songs belong to BIGBANG. “Loser” also earned a perfect all-kill (3 actually) as did Miss A’s “Only You” and SISTAR’s “Shake It”.

Congratulations to BIGBANG!!!

Kwanghee Overwhelmed by G-DRAGON’s Strict Producing Style and Started Using Honorifics to Him in Infinite Challenge

[?????=??? ??] Kwanghee of ZE:A was daunted by G-DRAGON’s sternness when they were producing their song for the song festival of Infinite Challenge.

The August 8 episode of MBC’s Infinite Challenge showed how the six teams were doing in preparing for the 2015 Song Festival.

After deciding the order in which the teams will perform, Kwanghee, G-DRAGON and TAEYANG started the recording of their song. Upon hearing the song for the festival, Kwanghee expressed his excitement about performing with G-DRAGON and TAEYANG and said, “Are we going to dance too?”

But when the recording started, Kwanghee kept making mistakes as if he felt intimidated by G-DRAGON, a notorious perfectionist. G-DRAGON kept shouting, “Let’s do it again.” Taken aback by his sternness, Kwanghee answered, “Ne (the Korean honorific for yes).”

After Being Chosen as First to Go on Stage in Infinite Challenge, G-DRAGON Blurted Out “What’s wrong with you guys today”

[OSEN=??? ??] G-DRAGON squirmed when he heard that his team ended up becoming the first team to go up on the stage at Infinite Challenge’s song festival.

On the August 8 episode of Infinite Challenge, TAEYANG and Kwanghee couldn’t answer the quiz questions correctly, and their team was made to go first on the stage at the song festival.

G-DRAGON was not with them since he had to shoot a music video, and TAEYANG was uncomfortable about telling him the news.

As expected, upon hearing the news, G-DRAGON sighed and said, “What’s wrong with you guys today.” He added jokingly, “Confetti on the first stage does not look good.” Confetti was chosen as the stage effect for their performance.

G-DRAGON tried to cheer up the others by saying, “Order is not important. Pros don’t make excuses.”

Meanwhile, the August 8 episode of Infinite Challenge was the sixth special episode for the show’s Song Festival. On the episode, the order of performances was decided and the six teams started recording their songs.

G-Dragon Tells Off Taeyang and Kwanghee Over the Order of Performances on “Infinity Challenge”

G-Dragon Tells Off Taeyang and Kwanghee Over the Order of Performances on “Infinity Challenge”

BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon is not amused when he hears that his performance with Kwanghee and Taeyang will have a potentially disadvantageous spot at the “Infinity Challenge music festival.

On August 8's episode of MBC’s “Infinity Challenge,” the members and their musician partners choose the order that they’ll be performing in at the upcoming festival based on a quiz game.

G-Dragon, who is filming for a music video, is not present for the game. Kwanghee and Taeyang end up in last place during his absence, making them the opening stage for the music festival.

In a following interview, Kwanghee and Taeyang call G-Dragon to pass on the unfortunate news, and in response he scolds them, “What were you guys doing? What’s wrong with the two of you?”

However, G-Dragon soon gets himself together and encourages the team. “The order of performances is important, but what really matters is how well you perform on stage,” he says.

Are you looking forward to this team’s performance at the music festival?

BIGBANG’s only rival is BIGBANG: In the No.1 on chart for 3 months in a row

[OSEN=??? ??] Group BIGBANG’s only rival is BIGBANG themselves. The team took the No.1 on monthly charts for three months in a row since May this year, with “MADE” project. The new songs released this month are also sweeping music charts.

BIGBANG is a group who has strong fandom and popularity. Every song the team releases takes the No.1 on charts and draws a keen attention from foreign fans, too. Notably, BIGBANG is thought to be a musician, rather than just an idol group. The members write their own songs, so BIGBANG always maintains their unique color and always entertains fans with fresh and new trials every time they release a new song.

BIGBANG began “MADE” project in May and has released two songs every month until this August. “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” released in May, “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” released in June, “IF YOU” and “SOBER” released in July, and “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER” released this month have all dominated all the top rankings on charts. As such, BIGBANG is boasting a formidable power for four consecutive months. To the extent that people even say “The only rival of BIGBANG is BIGBANG”, the music scene for this summer season which had been expected to be swept by girl groups is actually dominated by BIGBANG.

Most of all, it is notable that BIGBANG has stayed in the No.1 on daily, weekly, and monthly charts for three months in a row. In the current music scene that is ever-changing at a very fast speed, it is difficult for a singer to maintain a long run even though he tops the chart upon his comeback. There has been no such case like BIGBANG who is achieving a great success for every song they release despite the rush of new songs released almost every day. That proves how big power BIGBANG’s music has.

BIGBANG is creating sensation not only in Korea, but also in foreign countries. As BIGBANG has already established themselves as a leading K-Pop star who is standing under a big spotlight of major foreign media outlets, every album the team releases draws a keen attention from American Billboard, FUSE TV, and other major media outlets. It is only natural for BIGBANG to be ranked on foreign countries’ iTunes chart and Billboard world digital song chart. That indicates that foreign music fans also have a deep trust in BIGBANG’s music.

BIGBANG has now completed “MADE” project by releasing new single “E” with “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER” on August 5. While the team has been staying in the No.1 on charts for four consecutive months, member G-DRAGON and TAEYANG are also performing in the music festival of MBC TV’s “The Infinite Challenge”. So, it is expected that August will also be “the month of BIGBANG”.
