According to broadcasting insiders, TAEYANG recently took part in “Show Me the Money 4”’s competition. He helped WINNER’s SONG MINHO by featuring for him as a vocalist. TAEYANG showed his deep friendship with SONG, as an YG senior and close friend.

According to insiders, famous singers other than TAEYANG also cheered and helped “Show Me the Money 4”’s contestants, taking the show’s performances to the next level with their featuring. The collaboration performances and the semi-finalists will be unveiled on the 21 at 11pm.



Meanwhile, “Show Me the Money 4” has recently made a bold decision to live-broadcast the final match. The staff of the show officially announced, “We made the decision to prevent spoiler and to maximize the excitement of the final match. The staff are now pondering upon how to abide by the broadcasting review regulations and how to brace for any unexpected incident.”

Yang Hyun Suk and YG Entertainment sue a reporter for libel

Yang Hyun Suk and YG Entertainmentare saying enough is enough. They have both filed a lawsuit against a reporter 'K' of a sports media outlet.

Each have filed a lawsuit against the reporter for libel asking for 100 million KRW ( ~84,000 USD) each for a total of 200 million KRW.

YG Entertainment and Yang Hyun Suk decided to file their lawsuits especially regarding the three articles and columns the reporter 'K' wrote last month. Some of the issues that the reporter brought up were related to illegal expansion of the YG Entertainment headquarters, and the various drug scandals and rumors floating around about the agency artists.

In regards to the alleged illegal expansion of their building (expansion not detailed in the blueprint and not approved), YG Entertainment explained that this can't be considered an issue because they already demolished that part of the expansion immediately after realizing it was not allowed.

While announcing their lawsuit, YG Entertainment and Yang Hyun Suk stated that reporter 'K' presented false accusations as the truth with these articles mentioning the building expansion and the various drug rumors.

Reporter 'K' however is of the stance that he has been wrongly sued. The reporter stated,"My column from last month that YG is pointing out, was simply asking for a detailed investigation by the prosecutors, but [YG & Yang Hyun Suk] did not look at the overall content and are just making an issue of a few sentences."

Mnet‘s hip hop competition show “Show Me the Money 4” will be featuring various top musicians for the top 4 performances.

Multiple broadcast insiders confirmed with Osen on August 18 that Taeyang, Jessi, AOA‘s Jimin, MAMAMOO, and rapper Giriboy will be featuring on the competitors’ songs.

BIGBANG member Taeyang will be supporting Winner‘s Song Mino, while Jessi and Giriboy will be collaborating with Black Nut. AOA will be featuring on Innovator‘s song, while MAMAMOO will be supporting Basick on stage.

The top 4 performances saw Song Mino going against Black Nut, and Innovator going against Basick. Their performances will be airing on August 21.

“Infinity Challenge” Teaser Shows More Tears and Drama to Come, Previews of Music Festival Performances

Following this weekend’s heartwarming episode of “Infinity Challenge,” where members visited Koreans living outside of Korea to deliver food – on the “Infinity Challenge” cast’s own dime – from home sent by their families, a preview for the next week’s episode aired, which promised even more tears, drama, and the start of the highly anticipated music festival.

In the preview, the deliveries continue, with Yoo Jae Suk visiting a Korean adoptee in North Carolina, delivering food for both her and her unborn child from her birth mom, and Park Myung Soo running into conflict in Chile. Park Myung Soo is speaking to someone who appears to be the recipient of his delivery, but the man is saying, “No, no. Get out,” and “I’m not taking it. Go.” Park Myung Soo, frustrated and angry, says, “What did you say to me just now?”

The preview also gives snippets of performances from the music festival, showing, among other things, Kwanghee in his new blond hair and looking 100 percent serious in his performance with BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon and Taeyang,Yoo Jae Suk getting his sexy dance on, and SISTAR’s Hyorin performing withYoon Sang’s team, not to mention you can hear bits of each of the teams’ songs.

Although BIGBANG Didn’t Appear on the Show, They Topped “Show! Music Core” Chart – Their First No. 1 on a Music Show

[??????=??? ??] BIGBANG took the No.1 spot with their new single on MBC’s Show! Music Core.

On the special Show! Music Core held in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Korea’s Liberation Day and aired on August 15, BIGBANG became No. 1 winning over SHINee and Wonder Girls.

BIGBANG wasn’t able to perform on the show, but they took the No.1 spot on the music show’s charts. The MCs promised to the viewers that they will deliver the trophy to the BIGBANG members.

The No.1 song -“LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” – tells a sweet love story in a cheerful and lyrical melody and in BIGBANG’s unique way.

SHINee, Wonder Girls, Beast, A-Pink, B1A4, GOT7, Baechigi, Mamamoo, GFriend, Seventeen, Sonamoo, Dickpunks, and Nolza performed on MBC’s Show! Music Core on August 15.

Congratulations to BIGBANG! BIGBANG has taken first place on SBS “Inkigayo” with “Let’s Not Fall in Love.” In second place are Wonder Girls with “I Feel You,” and SHINee has come in third with “Married to the Music.”

August 16’s SBS “Inkigayo,” which was a pre-recorded special from Sokcho, will announce its winner tomorrow online on the “Inkigayo” home page, in the same procedure as last week. According to reports, nominated for number one this week are BEAST, with “YeY,” and A Pink, with “Remember.”

[????=??? ??] BIGBANG captivated the hearts of 30,000 Chinese fans at their Chengdu concert.

BIGBANG’s concert in Chengdu, which was part of BIGBANG’s 2015 World Tour-MADE, drew a bigger audience than any other K-pop concerts held in the city, demonstrating BIGBANG’s huge popularity in China.

The concert was held in the Chengdu Sports Center on August 14, and BIGBANG heated up the stage with their perfect live singing and glamorous performance. They started the concert with a fierce and powerful performance of their “BANG BANG BANG.” Afterwards, they performed not only their old hits such as “TONIGHT,””LIES,””HARU HARU” and ”BAD BOY” but also their recently released singles such as “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER.” Fans sang along with the members in Korean, and BIGBANG performed with more passion in reply.

At the concert, fans held an event to celebrate G-DRAGON’s birthday. They prepared a banner which read “HAPPY GDAY” and sang “Happy Birthday.” G-DRAGON was touched by the fans and expressed his love for them by making hearts with his hands.

After the concert, G-DRAGON posted pictures of the Chengdu concert on his SNS page and expressed how thankful he was to the fans by saying “Thank you for everything and amazing event for my birthday.” T.O.P also posted pictures of the concert on his SNS page and thanked the Chinese fans.

Their next concert will be held in Hangzhou on August 25. BIGBANG will also be promoting their new singles of the “E” album released on August 5 – “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER” by GD&T.O.P – in Korea.

South Korea celebrates the 70th anniversary of its Independence Day today, August 15, and with that, MBC is aired a special episode of its weekly music ranking show, “Music Core.” Jooheon of MONSTA X joined this week as a special MC.

BIGBANG, SHINee, and the Wonder Girls competed for first place with BIGBANG’s “Let’s Not Fall in Love” taking its first win over SHINee’s “Married to the Music” and Wonder Girls’ “I Feel You.”

KRUNK, the character that represents YG launched in Tokyo & Osaka, drawing big popularity

[OSEN=??? ??] KRUNK, the character that represents YG Entertainment (“YG”), is drawing a big popularity in Japan, too.

KRUNK and BIGBANG’s collaboration café “CRUNK X BIGBANG CAFÉ” was opened in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, on the 12 this month. Tons of reservations were submitted on its dedicated website, and hundreds of people flocked to the café on the opening day, to fill up the space all day long. That showed the popularity of BIGBANG and KRUNK character in Japan.

“KRUNK” is a character that represents YG, which is a fashionable celebrity bear who loves the hip-hop culture. After being introduced to YG fans for the first time in the music video of LEE HI’s “IT’S OVER” two years ago, it has evolved into a character that represents YG. Since then, KRUNK’s character goods were launched in December, 2013, Seoul ping-pong-up pop-up store was opened, collaboration with famous brands was carried out, YG artists’ art toys were launched, and the character drew big attention by being introduced in Seoul Fashion Week and Art Toy Culture 2015.

The collaboration café located in Harajuku in Tokyo and Shinsaibashi in Osaka is designed with the characters of BIGBANG and KRUNK. Visitors of the café can enjoy Tandoori curry, fan cake, and Pon De Chocolate made in the form of KRUNK’s face, and can buy KRUNK X BIGBANG’s official goods in the shop space in the café.

YG KRUNK has made big efforts to go beyond the limitations of a character, by carrying out a variety of collaboration projects in different fields such as culture and fashion. Its first collaboration with the food and beverage area launched in Japan is expected to give a special experience for YG fans.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG’s August’s new song “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER” are enjoying a continuous popularity in Japan, after being released on the 12 this month in the country.
