Update: BIGBANG’s Taeyang, Lee Sung Kyung, And More Participate In PSY’s Upcoming Album

Updated May 5 KST:

Here is the latest update to the track list from PSY’s upcoming eighth album!

It was previously mentioned that fans will be surprised by the artists participating in the album, and that seems to be correct. “Last Scene” (literal translation) features model and actress Lee Sung Kyung, and its lyrics were written by PSY in collaboration with iKON’s B.I. What’s more is that his other track “LOVE” will feature BIGBANG’s Taeyang.

Can this album get any better?

Original:

On May 4, part of the track list for PSY’s eighth studio album was revealed on YG Entertainment’s official blog.

It looks like PSY’s upcoming album will have 10 songs. The first song is titled, “I LUV IT,” and the second, which will be his title track, is called “New Face.” The titles of the other eight tracks have not yet been revealed.

It is reported that fans will be surprised by the other artists who featured on the songs in this album.

This is PSY’s first comeback in one year and six months. The lyrics of the planned title track, “New Face,” are said to carry on the message implied by the song’s title—the message of wanting someone new. As the song and music video will be released on May 10, the day after the South Korean Presidential Election on May 9, its release date seems to perfectly suit the title and meaning behind “New Face” and the country’s desire for change.

As previously announced, the music video for “New Face” will star Apink’s Son Naeun. The lyrics for “New Face” were written by PSY, and the song was produced by PSY and Yoo Gun Hyung, who was also the co-writer and co-producer of PSY’s hit, “Gangnam Style.”

The lyrics for “I LUV IT” were co-written by PSY and Block B’s Zico. The music for “I LUV IT” was produced by PSY, Zico, Yoo Gun Hyung, and Pop Time.

Are you looking forward to PSY’s comeback?

8 Idol Actors That Are Amazing At Action Scenes

As K-pop is becoming increasingly popular, many idols have tried their hands at acting as well. Some of these idol-actors have done well in their acting endeavors and are sharing their talent with more fans than ever before. Here are a few of our favorites that have not only done well on-screen, but have also taken on the challenge of filming exciting action scenes!

T.O.P

It is no surprise that the oldest member of BIGBANG has been in a number of different dramas and movies over the years. His stoic and cold impression has led him to play some badass roles. He will always be the lovable ‘bingu’ T.O.P that V.I.Ps have fallen in love with, but he can bring us chills in any powerful role he plays.

“Out of Control”

DIA members surprisingly run into BIGBANG’s T.O.P at Gangnam Police event

On May 1, girl group DIA visited the Gangnam Police Station for Korea’s Labor Day, where a special event took place.

During the event, the members took the time to give out signed CDs.  Heehyun picked out someone wearing a mask from the crowd.  Seeing this, the person was hesitant at first when suddenly the audience chanted “Choi Seung Hyun! Choi Seung Hyun! (T.O.P’s Korean name).”

The person they picked out turned out to be BIGBANG member T.O.P who took the stage, as he is currently stationed as a police soldier on site.  The girls were surprised by their sudden encounter with the idol star as they greeted T.O.P and gifted him a signed CD and even posed happily together to cherish the moment.

G-Dragon presents the official trailer for his upcoming world tour

Just hours ago, BIGBANG member G-Dragon posted the official trailer for his highly anticipated world tour titled ‘G-DRAGON 2017 WORLD TOUR ACT III, M.O.T.T.E’ via Instagram.

Set to tour a total of 19 cities worldwide, the clip further heightens the show’s expectations.  Opening with a series of VHS style footage along with intense, dramatic music, the trailer features an artist painting on a blank canvas, as well as droplets of blood representing motte, being created inside a mother’s womb- signaling the early stages of birth.

The final act looks truly epic and promising as fans will get a taste of G-Dragon’s 30-year life.

DIA Has Unexpected Meet Up With BIGBANG’s T.O.P

Girl group DIA had an accidental run-in with BIGBANG’s T.O.P.

On May 1, DIA visited the Gangnam Police Station for Labor Day. While on stage, they held an event to give away their signed CDs. As they chose people in the audience, Heehyun selected someone wearing a mask. The person hesitated a bit, and his colleagues started chanting “Choi Seung Hyun! Choi Seung Hyun!”

When he eventually got on stage, it turned out to be none other than BIGBANG’s T.O.P, who recently began his service as a policeman. The DIA members bowed and appeared to be a little starstruck, but they gave him the signed CD and took a photo together as they did with the other lucky winners.

DRESS LIKE G-DRAGON WHILE HELPING PEOPLE.

G-Dragon is a definite trendsetter when it comes to fashion. Having been invited to various fashion shows abroad and being recognized by fashion experts for his style, no one can contest that fashion and the BIGBANG member will always be written in one line.

But the 27-year-old singer-songwriter is not all about making fashion statements but also using fashion to make statements. The leader of BIGBANG has recently participated in a charity event of a duty-free store he is currently endorsing in South Korea.

To commemorate its first year anniversary, Myeongdong branch of Shinsegae Duty Free auctioned off four of the singer’s outfits he wore for the store’s promotional video. All proceeds of the auction will be donated to charity.
