G-Dragon’s “Untitled 2014” MV accomplished something that’s normally impossible

G-Dragon‘s music video for “Untitled 2014” finished filming in under an hour, a feat that was considered impossible.

G-Dragon recently released his newest album, Kwon Ji Yong, achieved an incredible feat by finishing the filming for his music video in just one hour.

The director, Han Sa Min, expressed he wanted to convey the emotions behind the lyrics of the song, and so he took close-up shots of  G-Dragon emotionally performing it while he took close-up shots to capture the emotions.

He also spent two days on preparing multiple filming sets so that they could shoot several takes over a few days and choose the best scenes to put together, but filming schedules for the music video were cut short after G-Dragon finished it in just one take.

Filming a music video is said to take at least 2 to 3 days, as the sets are often changed throughout the filming, and resulting in multiple takes of the same scene. According to sources, filming a music video in under an hour is extremely rare, as well as filming the entire music video in one take.

According to the director, he never stopped filming G-Dragon convey his emotions while performing the song, and even canceled plans to shoot several more takes the next day, because he believed this one take was enough for the music video.

“There’s no need to film anymore. There are other sets prepared for tomorrow, but I don’t think we need to film anymore.”

[M+Hot Comeback] The Real G-DRAGON is Back with New Songs

[MBN스타=신미래 기자] The solo album of G-DRAGON has been revealed.

G-DRAGON’s solo album “KWON JI YONG” was released online at 6 PM today.

The album consists of five tracks: “UNTITED”, “KWON JI YONG”, “BULLSHIT”, “SUPER STAR”, and “NEW SONG”.

The title song “UNTITLED” has impressive a piano melody, and G-DRAGON sings about how he misses his ex in the slow beat song. It is quite a change from his usual strong rap songs.

His sad singing voice  touches the hearts of the listeners, especially in the chorus part that goes “if i can see you one more time, i can give up everything.”

“BULLSHIT”  is a powerful hip hop song as strong as the title. Even from the beginning of the song, G-DRAGON raps, “What is this bullshit? I have no idea. Go and bite them. I have my gang. Call them. It’s all bullshit”, and the strong lyrics combined with the powerful hip hop beat defines the tone of the song.

In the solo album, G-DRAGON tried to express the personal side of himself by singing about what he is worried about these days and the growth pains he’s been going through as a guy who just entered his thirties.

“KWON JI YONG” is not an album made to produce hit songs. It is an album that G-DRAGON made to do the music he wants to do now and talk about what he is going through as a regular person.

YG Gives Update On BIGBANG’s T.O.P, Explains He Is Being Moved To A New Hospital

Following yesterday’s news of his improved condition, BIGBANG’s T.O.P and his family have made the decision to have him moved to a different hospital.

YG Entertainment released an official announcement on June 9 and said, “We are deeply apologetic to the patients who have been inconvenienced for the past couple of days,” referencing the large influx of reporters who had gathered at the Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital.

They continued to state, “The hospital’s medical team made the recommendation that T.O.P should be moved from the intensive care unit to the general ward. However, his guardian requested that he be moved to a different facility that has single patient rooms to make visiting him a smoother process. We will not be releasing the name of the new hospital as we wish to avoid the situation we faced at the first hospital. We ask for your understanding.”

T.O.P was discharged four days after he was first admitted. He was escorted out of the hospital in a wheelchair, and was heard saying, “I’m sorry” as he left.

We truly hope that T.O.P is able to rest well and recover fully.

[Updated] T.O.P leaves hospital amid military service suspension

(ATTN: REWRITES headline, lead; UPDATES with details in paras 2-3, 6)

SEOUL, June 9 (Yonhap) — T.O.P of South Korean boy band BIGBANG, who has been hospitalized for a drug overdose, left the hospital on Friday, as he was officially suspended from his mandatory military service due to a marijuana scandal.

“I’m sorry,” the singer responded succinctly towards a barrage of questions from reporters as he came out of the intensive care unit of Ewha Womans University Medical Center in western Seoul.

The singer, who came out sitting in a wheelchair, was in a patient gown and wearing a mask. He was later transfered to another hospital at an undisclosed location by an ambulance, where he will receive psychiatric treatment.

T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, is suspected of smoking the banned substance four times with a 21-year-old female trainee singer at his home in Seoul in October last year.

The singer, who began his military service as a conscripted policeman in February, was indicted Monday. He was hospitalized the following day from an apparent overdose of benzodiazepine by a police unit in eastern Seoul.

“There are no single patient rooms in the psychiatric ward at Ewha Womans University Medical Center. Choi and his mother decided to proceed with psychiatric treatment at another hospital,” a hospital official said.

Earlier in the day, T.O.P was officially suspended from his mandatory military service after being indicted for smoking marijuana on multiple occasions.

Police regulation mandates the suspension of duty for conscripted policemen when indicted on criminal charges.

An official at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, “Choi will be sent home immediately.”

“We’ve suspended Choi from his duty after receiving the original indictment document from prosecutors,” the official added.

T.O.P’s military service period will be put on hold until a court reaches a verdict. If he receives a jail term of 18 months or more, he will be dishonorably discharged from the service.

In the case of a weaker verdict, T.O.P will become eligible for a police review on whether he is fit to serve with the police again. If he fails to pass the review, T.O.P will be discharged from the police and forced to finish his military duty as a public service worker.

T.O.P transfers hospitals in a wheelchair + apologizes to the press

BIGBANG‘s T.O.P has been released from the Ehwa Womans University Hospital‘s ICU on June 9 at 2:30 PM KST, and will be transferring hospitals to continue his mental health treatment.

The idol has been released from intensive care 4 days after being admitted. He’ll be transferring hospitals due to the fact that the Ehwa Womans University Hospital does not have single, private facilities for treatment.

T.O.P left the hospital in a wheelchair, accompanied by his mother and representatives from YG Entertainment. To the press surrounding him, he briefly answered, “I apologize”, and departed from the vicinity.

According to reps from the former hospital, T.O.P was seen walking in his hospital room shortly before his release, and is capable of normal communication.

It’s unclear whether or not T.O.P will be attending his first court hearing on June 29.
